Schopp and Sueflohn will wrestle in the U.S. Open Men's Freestyle National Championships at 61 kg and 74 kg, respectively. Griffin Parriott, the 2017 UWW Junior Freestyle National Champion at 70 kg, and Shawn Streck (125 kg) will join their coaches in the senior-level bracket.

Both tournaments open Friday at noon ET from the South Point Convention Center and conclude Saturday.

Winners of the 2018 U.S. Senior Men's Freestyle U.S. Open Championships at the weight being contested will receive either an automatic berth to the World Team Trials Challenge Tournament Wrestle-Off or the Final X. Automatic berths only apply to athletes who have qualified for the berth at the weight being contested.
