CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The seedings and brackets for the 2013 Big Ten Wrestling Championships were finalized and announced by the conference on Friday, unveiling the matchups for the Purdue wrestling team. The Boilermakers had two individuals change spots from their preliminary seeds as junior Cashe Quiroga was dropped from the No. 6 seed to No. 7 seed at 133 pounds, while Ivan Lopouchanski climbed from the No. 3 to No. 2 seed at 149 pounds.

Junior Camden Eppert and sophomores Brandon Nelsen and Braden Atwood all maintained their preliminary seeds as Eppert held the No. 6 spot at 125 pounds, while Nelsen and Atwood remained No. 5 at 141 and 197, respectively.

Eppert received a first-round bye and will face the winner of third-seeded Jesse Delgado of Illinois and unseeded Eric Coufal of Nebraska, while Quiroga also got a first-round bye and has the winner of second-seeded Tony Ramos of Iowa and unseeded Brandon Fifield of Michigan State. Nelsen bypassed a pigtail match and will face the winner of fourth-seeded Bryan Pearsall of Penn State and unseeded Thomas Kelliher, while Lopouchanski and Michigan State's Dan Osterman both got first-round byes and will meet in the quarterfinals. Atwood and Ohio State's Andrew Campolattano both received first-round byes as well and are set to meet in the quarterfinals.

Three brackets were seeded completely due to the Big Ten receiving at least eight bids at those weights, setting the first-round matchups for sophomore Pat Robinson, freshman Chad Welch and junior Alex White. Robinson takes on seventh-seeded Ryan LeBlanc of Indiana at 165, Welch faces seventh-seeded Lee Munster of Northwestern at 174 and White takes on fifth-seeded Mike McClure of Michigan State at 285.

Unseeded Boilermakers Tommy Churchard and Kyle Mosier both drew pigtail matches as Churchard will square off with fifth-seeded Taylor Walsh of Indiana, while Mosier takes on fourth-seeded John Rizqallah of Michigan State at 184 pounds.

Action begins tomorrow at 10 a.m. (CT) and updates will be available all day at the @PurdueWrestling Twitter Page.
