Posted a 21-17 mark in his final season, going 2-6 in Big Ten duals and qualifying for his second straight NCAA Championships ... edged 16th-ranked Kyle Bradley of Missouri, SV 11-9, in season-opening duals (11/10) ... won 11 of his first 12 matches, including 10 straight from Nov. 10 to Dec. 8 ... placed fifth at the Northern Iowa Open (12/8) with a major decision and a technical fall ... went 1-2 at the Midlands Championships (12/29), earning a 5-4 tiebreaker win over NCAA qualifier Zac Cibula of Rider ... earned clutch Big Ten dual victories in team wins over Wisconsin (1/28) and Michigan (2/3), helping Purdue to conference wins in each meet ... topped Bradley of Missouri for a second time at NWCA National Duals, D 9-5 (2/17) ... went 0-2 at the Big Ten Championships (3/9), but earned an at-large bid to nationals ... notched a 2-2 mark at the NCAA Championships (3/20-21), including a major decision over Ohio's Spartak Chino, 11-2, suffering losses to All-Americans James Fleming of Clarion and James Green of Nebraska ... tied for seventh on the team with 21 wins, while scoring the second-most technical falls (three) and fifth-most major decisions (four) ... led team in takedowns (70) and reversals (15), and ranked second on the squad with 41 back points ... 15 reversals matches the No. 14 single-season mark in school history and finished tied for 13th all-time at Purdue with 32 career reversals.

Set a series of career-bests in a 20-20 campaign at 157 pounds, earning his first career national ranking and qualifying for his first career NCAA Championship ... won just three of his first nine matches, including a 2-2 showing at the Eastern Michigan Open (11/5) ... captured sixth place at the Midlands Championships (12/29-30), going 6-3 with five straight wins, including three over seeded opponents ... finished 3-5 in Big Ten duals, including key wins against Illinois (1/6) and Indiana (2/5) ... placed eighth at the Big Ten Championships (3/3-4) ... went 2-2 at the NCAA Championships (3/15-16) with a major decision and a decision ... tied for the team-lead with 15 reversals, matching the No. 14 single-season total in school history, and finished second with 61 takedowns.
