Finished 6-6 in matches at 184, 197 and 285 pounds ... took home sixth place at the Eastern Michigan Open (11/7), winning three straight to advance to the semifinals and injury defaulting to sixth at 197 pounds ... went 1-1 at the Missouri Open (11/22) at 197 pounds, scoring a 10-3 victory over Oklahoma City's Jake Mabry ... won his first match of the year at 184, topping Nolan Karwoski of Mount Saint Joseph, 8-2, at the Purdue Duals (12/20) ... lost a pair of matches at the Old Dominion Duals (1/3), one at 184 and one at 197 ... topped Illinois' Marty Smith at heavyweight (2/18) to help the Boilermakers to a Big Ten Dual win in Champaign ... went 0-2 at 285 pounds at the Big Ten Championships (3/6).

Posted a 9-4 record on the season ... placed fourth at the Kent State Open (1/18), going 3-2 including his first collegiate fall ... won the Simonson Open (1/24) with a trio of wins; scored a major decision and two falls on the day ... took home fifth place at the Edinboro Open (2/7) after a 3-2 day, notched a pin and two decisions; finished the year tied for sixth on the team with four falls.
