Posted a 19-17 mark in his first collegiate season ... took fifth at the Eastern Michigan Open (11/5), going 3-2, including his first career fall ... went 2-2 at the Michigan State Open (11/12) ... wrestled in his first varsity dual at the Northeast Duals (11/26) ... placed sixth at the Maryville/Kaufman Brands Open, going 4-3 ... posted a 3-2 mark at the Cleveland State Open (12/18) ... earned sixth place at the Ashland Simonson Open (1/28) ... placed fifth at the National Collegiate Open (2/26).

Four-year varsity letterwinner at Hamilton Southeastern High School; placed third at the Indiana State High School Championships as a senior, finishing 32-1 with his only loss coming to the eventual state champion in the state semifinals; won sectional and regional titles as a senior; qualified for the semi-state tournament as a junior and sophomore; also earned a trio of varsity letters in football.
