Posted a 7-13 mark, wrestling at 141 and 149 pounds in his inaugural season ... went 3-2 at the Michigan State Open (11/12) ... had a crucial 3-1 sudden victory win at 149 pounds at Northern Illinois (12/1) ... competed at the Midlands Championships (12/29) and in three Big Ten Duals ... went 2-2 at the National Collegiate Open (2/26), including his first career fall.

Did not compete during initial season at Purdue.
HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year varsity letterwinner at Westlake High School; two-time Ohio State High School Championship runner-up, taking second place as a sophomore and junior; turned in a high school record of 127-10, before cutting his career short with an injury as a senior; placed fifth at the state tournament as a freshman; took home sixth place at the 2009 Walsh Ironman Tournament.
