WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's tennis team will wrap up its fall season this weekend, when it plays at the Big Ten Singles Championships in Madison, Wis. The tournament will last four days, running from Nov. 12 to 15, at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium.

Colin Foster, Eric Hodgman and Matt Zollman will be three of the 28 players competing in the qualifying draw, beginning Friday. Fifty-sixth ranked and fifth seeded Paul Rose will begin competition in the main draw Saturday with teammates Scott Warner, Filip Koziell, David Robinson and Sounak Chatterjee.

Purdue head coach Tim Madden anticipates strong performances from seniors Chatterjee, Koziell, and Robinson in the last fall tournament of their Purdue careers.

"I believe our three seniors will be competing with a sense of urgency in their last individual conference championship," Madden says. "Sounak, Filip and David have all been working hard to show they can be an impact for us this season."

Paul Rose says the Boilermakers will enter the weekend with a specific agenda.

"As a team, we feel that we are ready to go out and prove to ourselves that we can compete with anyone in the Big Ten," Rose says. "With this being our last event of the fall, we know that it is our last chance to overcome any doubts."

Play on Friday begins at 9 a.m. Complete brackets and results will be available throughout the weekend on uwbadgers.com.
