WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's tennis team is sending four individuals to the Big Ten Singles Championships in Iowa City, Iowa, this weekend. The tournament will be held from Friday to Sunday.
Pawel Poziomski, Evan Hawkins, Thomas Kroczek, and Billy Heuer will represent the Boilermakers at the tournament. Poziomski will face Jonas Dierckx of Iowa while Kroczek will play Michigan's Alex Petrone in the first round. Heuer drew Northwestern's Eric Spector and Hawkins will play the Wildcats' Alberto Zanotti in singles play. In doubles play, Kroczek and Hawkins will play at 9 a.m. CT against Franks and Buzzi of Michigan. Poziomski and Heuer will go up against Brooks and Pfister of Michigan State at 10 a.m. CT. Both of Purdue's doubles teams will compete in the doubles A draw.
