WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men’s tennis camp will host a pair of tennis camps this summer. The Purdue University Nike Tennis Camps will be available for kids, boys and girls, ages 8-18 as a day, extended day, or overnight camps. Purdue’s first camp will take place from June 24-28 while the second is from July 1-5.
The Nike Tennis Camp at Purdue is a great place for kids to have fun while improving their game. The camp provides an opportunity to for youth to receive hands on instruction from Purdue men’s tennis head coach Pawel Gajdzik and assistant coach Brandon Lenfert. Campers will be able to play against some of the best competition within their age group and establish lasting friendships. Participants will be evaluated from the very first day so that the coaching staff can pinpoint and instruct on areas for improvement throughout the week.
The camps will be held at the Schwartz Tennis Center on Purdue’s campus. The center features six indoor and 12 outdoor courts. Lunch will be provided for all campers while dinner will also be given for extended day and overnight participants. The camp provides an opportunity to experience Purdue’s campus, tennis facilities, and hours of instruction from an excellent coaching staff. Reviews and registration are available by clicking here.
The Purdue men’s tennis team was ranked for much of the season this spring. The team saw great improvement, especially in doubles, as Aaron Dujovne and Diego Acosta paired to be the No. 40 doubles pair in the nation in the latest poll. The youthful Boilermakers will return all seven players next season while looking to add some new talent.
