COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Big Ten hosted its annual Men's Tennis Awards Banquet on Thursday night at the conference tournament. Purdue picked up one second-team honor as well as a sportsmanship award.

Szymon Tatarczyk was among five individuals to be named Second Team All-Big Ten Thursday night. The junior played most of the season at the top two singles and doubles spots. He was 10-8 at No. 1 and 3-3 at No. 2 in singles including a 5-6 overall record in the conference. He also went 11-8 in doubles on the season including 4-4 at No. 1 and 7-4 at No. 2. He was 5-5 in conference play.

Krisztian Krocsko was named the team's Sportsmanship Honoree. This award is given to one player on each team who exemplifies sportsmanship and ethical behavior throughout the season as well as maintains good academic standing.
