WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The No. 61 Purdue men’s tennis team wraps up its regular season on Tuesday with a doubleheader against Vincennes. The first match is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET, though could be pushed back up to an hour if there is rain, and the second match is at 2:30.
Purdue (16-11, 3-8 B1G) will say goodbye two a pair of seniors as Krisztian Krocsko and Pawel Poziomski will play in their final match at the Schwartz Tennis Center. Krocsko came to Purdue as a sophomore after spending his freshman season at Virginia Commonwealth. Since becoming a Boilermaker, Krocsko has racked up 52 singles wins and 38 doubles victories. Poziomski transferred to Purdue after his freshman year at Northern Illinois. Poziomski has 21 singles wins and 36 doubles victories since setting foot on Purdue’s campus.
Vincennes (7-8) has played a couple of Big Ten teams already this season. The Trail Blazers fell to Indiana over the weekend, 7-0. They also faced Illinois on March 23 and lost 54-13 in an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Experimental format. The Boilermakers and Trail Blazers faced each other last season with Purdue winning the match, 4-0.
