WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The No. 71 Purdue men’s tennis team will host a doubleheader on Saturday to take on the Bradley Braves at 10 a.m. ET and Green Bay at 4 p.m. on the Basham Courts at the Schwartz Tennis Center.

Purdue (9-3) is coming off an emotional loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Boilers are looking to start the month of March off strong after going 2-3 in February. In last weekend’s match, Purdue dropped the doubles point with tight matches on each court. In singles, the team picked up wins from Szymon Tatarczyk at No. 1, Evan Hawkins at No. 3, and Krisztian Krocsko at No. 6.

Krocsko has the top singles record for Purdue this season as he is 8-3. Aaron Dujovne is just behind him at 7-2. Hawkins, who rejoined the lineup just two weeks ago, is a perfect 2-0 since his return with victories at No. 2 and No. 3.

Bradley (4-4) is coming off a pair of losses from two weeks ago. The Braves fell to Toledo, 6-1, and Butler, 4-3. Purdue blanked both team this season with a 7-0 victory over Toledo and 4-0 over the Bulldogs. The Braves are also 0-1 this season against the Big Ten as they fell to Iowa on Feb. 1, 5-2.

Hamish Weeransinghe leads Bradley as he has played at No. 1 for seven of the team’s eight matches. He has a 2-5 record at that spot. Juan Diego Cuadradro has the best dual match record this season as he is 7-1 with a 4-0 record at No. 4, 2-1 at No. 3, and 1-0 at No. 2.

The Boilermakers are 3-1 all-time against the Braves with the last matchup coming in 1978.

Green Bay (7-2) has won three of its last four matches. The Phoenix are coming off a 5-2 loss to Toledo, though, from last weekend. Purdue and Green Bay have a couple other common opponents as both teams beat IPFW and IUPUI by 7-0 scores.

Craig Cox and Michael Tenzer lead the way for the Phoenix. Tenzer is 6-0 on the season with a 4-0 record at No. 1 and 2-0 mark at No. 2. Cox is 8-1 on the year with a 2-0 record at No. 1, 1-0 mark at No. 2, and is 5-1 at No. 3. Cox has also won four-straight matches.

Purdue is 1-0 all-time against Green Bay with a win in 2011.
