WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Six co-ed home meets, including visits from eight Big Ten Conference rivals, highlight the 2013-14 Purdue swimming and diving schedules, announced by head coaches Dan Ross and John Klinge.

The Boilermakers will welcome Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Ohio State, Wisconsin, the Illinois women and the Iowa men to the Boilermaker Aquatic Center. A co-ed dual meet against Notre Dame on Nov. 1 also highlights the early portion of both schedules.

Purdue is slated host a pair of triple duals/quad meets that will feature five visiting Big Ten teams. The Friday, Nov. 8 duals will feature Northwestern, Ohio State and the Iowa men. It's also the Boilers' turn in the three-year rotation to host the annual Big Ten Quad and Triple Duals, featuring Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Illinois women. That two-day meet is scheduled for Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.

The weekend of Jan. 10-11, Michigan and Michigan State visit the Boilermaker Aquatic Center for head-to-head co-ed dual meets on consecutive days. The Michigan men are the defending NCAA Champions.

The championship portion of the season for the Purdue men features Michigan hosting the Big Ten Championships (Feb. 26-March 1) in Ann Arbor. The NCAA Championships (March 27-29) are being held at the University of Texas in Austin this year. The Purdue men are next up in the rotation to host the Big Ten Championships in 2015.

The women's 2014 championship season will feature the University of Minnesota hosting both the Big Ten Championships (Feb. 19-22) and NCAA Championships (March 20-22). The women's Big Ten Championships returns to Minneapolis for the second year in a row due to the national championship meet also being held there this season.

The Zone C Diving Championships (March 13-15) are set to be contested at Ohio State this season. All of the Purdue divers as well as the women's swimmers are also scheduled to compete at the Ohio State Invitational (Nov. 22-24) for a meet that will serve as the primary focus of the fall training program.

The Boilermakers have received the green light to hold their winter training camp in Hawaii this season. The dates and length of the trip are still being finalized and will coincide with the semester break in the academic calendar.

The men's swimmers' fall training will be geared towards the Minnesota Grand Prix, a six-session invitational meet set for Nov. 14-16 in Minneapolis.

Other home meets include the annual Indiana Intercollegiates (Oct. 26), featuring a variety of other programs from around the state. The men will race Miami (Ohio) on Nov. 22 and the women will again host an NCAA Last Chance meet (March 1) the Saturday after the Big Ten Championships.

The third annual Breaststroke 4 Hope fundraising exhibition swim-a-thon will be held Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Boilermaker Aquatic Center. Groups from around campus and the Greater Lafayette area are invited to participate.

The annual Indiana-Purdue dual meets will be contested in Bloomington this year. The women will go head-to-head against the Hoosiers Jan. 25 and the men will face their rivals on Feb. 8.

The women's team along with the men's divers will open their seasons Oct. 18 at Miami. The Oct. 26 Indiana Intercollegiates will serve as the season-opening meet for the men's swimmers.
