COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Boilermaker men's and women's diving teams ended their weekend at the Ohio State Swimming and Diving Invitational on Sunday with a pair of solid finishes from both Kara Cook and David Colturi. Last year's All-Americans each took fourth in the platform competition.

Cook scored a 283.45 earlier today, which was good for a season high. Colturi put up 339.90 points for his own fourth-place finish.

The other two Purdue men competing finished right behind Colturi. Kyle Mitrione was fifth at 331.20 with Danny Cox in sixth at 314.55.

Emily Wetzel finished seventh on the women's side, scoring 216.45 points. Casey Matthews ended up eighth after putting up 213.10 points.

Sean Moore (Ohio State) won the men's competition with a mark of 434.60. Brittany Viola (Miami) tallied a 308.80 to take the women's title.

The Boilermakers now go on hiatus for roughly a month, spending their time training in both West Lafayette and Florida. Their next competition is not until Saturday, Jan. 10, at 11 a.m. ET.

The men will go up against Florida Atlantic and Iowa, while the women will take on Florida International, Florida Atlantic and Iowa. The meet will take place in Miami, Fla., on the campus of Florida International University. Both of the swimming and diving teams will be participating.
