Boilermakers continue to train with eyes on three-day Purdue Invitational (Nov. 16-18)

2016-17 / AS A SOPHOMORE
• Competed primarily in the backstroke events
• Posted career-best times in the 100 (48.90) and 200 back (1:44.89) at the IU First Chance meet, earning a spot on the roster for the Big Ten Championships
• Ranked third on the team in 200 back, moving into eighth place in program history
• Qualified for the C final of the 200 back (1:46.38) at Big Tens to contribute to the team scoring
• Also broke 50 seconds in the 100 back at Big Tens, posting a time of 49.26
• Qualified for the B final of the 200 back at Virginia Tech's H2Okie Fall Invitational where he was also a C finalist in the 100
• Posted season-best times in the 100 fly (51.39) and 200 free (1:43.56) at Va Tech
• Swam the leadoff leg on the victorious 200 medley relay team in the dual meet win vs. Miami (Ohio)
• Had a pair of top-three finishes in the backstroke events at the IU First Chance
• Won his heat of the 200 back at the Big Ten Triple Duals
• Represented Purdue at the USA Swimming Phillips 66 National Championships in June and the U.S. Open Championships in August

• Posted season-best times in the 100 (50.22) and 200 back (1:46.26) at the Purdue First Chance meet, finishing as the runner-up in the 200
• Ranked fourth on the team in the 200 back in 2015-16 with the 10th-fastest time in program history
• Won the B final of the 200 back at the Purdue Invitational to account for nine team points
• Also at the Purdue Invite, qualified for the C final of the 100 back and won his heat of the 500 free
• Runner-up in the 200 back at the Big Ten Triple Duals
• Won his heats of the 100 back and 200 free at the Indiana Intercollegiates, posting a season-best time (1:45.21) in the 200 free
• Part of the victorious 400 free relay team in the dual meet win vs. Miami (Ohio)
• Finished third in the 100 back at the FIU Sprint Invitational

• Four-year varsity letterwinner for coach Jake Taylor at West Essex Regional High School in northeast New Jersey
