2011-12: Gutierrez competed in nine different events, racing most frequently in the 200 and 500 free... season-best times in the 200 (1:38.79, 3rd) and 500 free (4:28.33, 4th) ranked among the top five on the team in 2011-12... posted his 200 free time at the Big Ten Championships and his 500 free time at the Ohio State Invitational... accounted for 12 team points by finishing third in the B final of the 200 and 500 free at the Ohio State Invitational... won the 200 free at the Indiana Intercollegiates and the 200 IM in the dual meet win versus Miami... competed in the mile at the Big Ten Championships... swam the 200 back and 1000 free in the Miami meet... raced in the 200 and 400 IM at the Ohio State Invitational.
