2010-11: Mahon competed in nine different individual events but saw his most action in the 500 free and 200 fly... posted season-best times in the 500 free (4:32.17)... recorded a season-best time in the 200 fly (1:55.26) at the Purdue Invitational to advance to the B final... also competed in the 400 IM and 500 and 1650 free at the Purdue Invitational... his 400 IM time (4:10.85) at the Purdue Invite was fifth best on the team in 2010-11... also competed in four events - 500 and 1000 free, 200 fly and 400 IM - at the Big Ten Quad... swam the 500 and 1000 free in the dual meet with Indiana... also competed in the 200 free, 100 breast, 100 fly and 200 IM.

Before Purdue: Four-year letterwinner...two-time All-American...two-time All-State...named team MVP final two seasons...helped team to four conference championships and 2007 and 2009 sectional titles...finished second in 500 freestyle at state championships senior year...won two sectional championships as senior...won 500 freestyle sectional championship sophomore and junior seasons...2009 senior state champion in mile.
