2011-12: Dias competed in seven different events, racing most frequently in the breaststroke and IM events... accounted for 22 team points at the Big Ten Championships, winning the B final of the 200 IM with a Purdue freshman-record time (1:45.79) and taking sixth in the A final of the 200 breast... his 200 IM time also ranked as second fastest in program history... competed for Team Canada at the Pan American Games in October, finishing fifth overall in the A final of the 200 IM... his season-best times in the 200 breast (1:57.63) and 200 IM were both tops on the team in 2011-12... 200 breast time also ranked as fourth fastest in Purdue history... his season-best times in the 100 breast (56.68, 4th) and 400 IM (3:55.74, 5th) were also among the Purdue top five in 2011-12... won the A final of the 200 breast with a new meet record time (1:57.63) at the Ohio State Invitational... ranked tied for second on the team with seven individual victories overall... also won the 200 breast in dual meets against Indiana, Iowa/Ohio State, Northwestern and Notre Dame... won the 200 breast by seven seconds while also capturing the 200 IM vs. Northwestern... won the 400 IM vs. Notre Dame... accounted for 47 team points by qualifying for the finals of the 100 and 200 breast and 200 and 400 IM at the Ohio State Invitational... swam the breaststroke leg on the on the victorious 200 medley relay team at the Big Ten Quad.
