2013-14:CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-America... Academic All-Big Ten... Petric competed in 10 different events, most frequently racing in the distance freestyle, 200 fly, 200 back and 400 IM events... season-best times in the mile (16:03.27, 3rd), 500 free (4:25.48, 4th), 200 fly (1:48.81, 4th) and 400 IM (3:50.41, 4th) all ranked among the top five on the team in 2013-14... accounted for four team points at the Big Ten Championships by finishing fifth in the B final of the 400 IM... ranks among the Purdue all-time Top 10 in the 500 (4:23.03, 3rd), 1000 (9:13.93, 6th) and 1650 free (15:23.60, 9th) as well as the 400 IM (3:49.29, 5th)... season-best times in the 500 free, 200 fly and 400 IM were at the Big Ten Championships... season-best time in the 200 back (1:50.50) while competing in five events total at the Minnesota Grand Prix... had a season-best time in the 200 free (1:43.13) while racing in four events at the Big Ten Triple Duals... helped the 200 medley relay team win at the season-opening Indiana Intercollegiates and also raced in the 100 breast and 200 IM... named among the team captains for 2014-15.

Petric competed in eight different events, racing most frequently in the distance freestyle events and 400 IM... established a new Purdue 500 free freshman record (4:23.03) at the Big Ten Championships... qualified for the A final of the 400 IM at Big Tens, breaking the Purdue freshman record in the prelims before it was eclipsed again that night by Guillermo Blanco... his season-best times in the 500, 1000 (9:14.23) and 1650 (15:23.60) free at the Big Ten Championships all ranked as the best on the team in 2011-12... his 400 IM time (3:49.87) was second and fifth fastest in program history... 500 and 1000 free times rank second and fourth best, respectively, in program history... was among the eight Purdue swimmers that traveled to Dallas for the Classic @ SMU, representing the Boilers in the A final of the 200 fly, 400 IM and 500 free... accounted for 43 team points at the Ohio State Invitational, placing third in the mile, fourth in the A final of the 400 IM and seventh in the A final of the 500 free... won the 500 free in the dual meet win against Miami... finished first in the 1000 free in the dual meet victory versus Northwestern... posted a season-best time in the 200 free (1:40.52) in the C final at the Ohio State Invitational... season-best time in the 200 fly also came at the Ohio State Invitational... swam the 200 back in the dual meet win against Northwestern and the 200 IM at the triple dual with Iowa and Ohio State in Iowa City.
Before Purdue: Three-time Swimmer of the Year award winner for his age group on the club level in Slovenia... won multiple national championships in various distances in freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and IM events.
