Hodges competed primarily in the breaststroke events... qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in the 100 and 200 breast, finishing 49th of 139 in the 100... his season-best times in the 100 (55.57, 2nd) and 200 breast (2:05.19, 5th) ranked among the top five on the team in 2011-12... qualified for the C final of the 100 breast while posting his season-best time at the Big Ten Championships... swept the 100 and 200 breast in the Senior Salute dual meet win against Michigan State... won the C final of the 100 breast and took fifth in the B final in the 200 to account for four team points at the Ohio State Invitational... swam the breaststroke on medley relay winners in the dual meet victory against Miami and the Black and Gold Intrasquad... also competed in the 100 and 200 fly, 200 IM and 500 free at early-season meets.

Hodges competed primarily in breaststroke events... posted the second-fastest times on the team in the 100 (55.54) and 200 breast (2:00.05)... qualified for the C final of both breaststroke events at the Big Ten Championships, posting his season-best time in the 100... recorded his season-best time in the 200 breast at the Ohio State Last Chance Meet... won the B final of the 100 breast and finished fifth overall in the 200 breast at the Purdue Invitational... swam the breaststroke leg of the victorious 400 medley relay team in the dual meet win at Notre Dame, a group that posted Purdue's fourth-fastest time of the season... competed in the 200 IM five times, highlighted by a season-best time of 1:58.28 at the Purdue Invitational.
