2011-12: Academic All-Big Ten... Galdeano competed primarily in the butterfly events, posting the team's top time of the season in the 200 fly (1:46.38) at the Ohio State Invitational... finished third in the B final of the 200 fly at the Big Ten Championships to account for six team points... recorded season-best time in the 100 fly (48.95), which was fourth best on the team, at the Big Ten Championships... finished third in the A final of the 200 fly at the Ohio State Invitational, accounting for 22 team points that weekend after also taking third in the B final of the 100 free... posted four individual victories, rallying to win the 200 fly in the dual meet win against Northwestern after a final 25-yard split of 26.84... also won the 200 fly in duals vs. Notre Dame and Miami and the Black and Gold Intrasquad meet... runner-up in the 200 fly at the triple dual against Iowa and Ohio State in Iowa City... competed in the 50 and 500 free, 100 back and 200 IM in early-season meets... his career-best time in the 200 fly (1:46.09) still ranks as second fastest in program history and a Purdue freshman record.

2010-11: CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American... Galdeano competed primarily in butterfly events, establishing a new Purdue freshman record in the 200 fly (1:46.09) at the Big Ten Championships... finished second in the B final with NCAA provisional qualifying time while posting that new Purdue record at Big Tens... his 200 fly time also ranked second fastest in program history... his season-best time in the 100 fly (48.77), also posted at Big Tens, ranked second at Purdue in 2010-11... returned home in early December to compete in the Spanish short course nationals... won the 200 fly and finished second in the 100 fly in the dual meet win at Notre Dame... finished second in the 200 fly with a time of 1:49.87 in the dual meet win at Northwestern... also swam the 100 back and 500 free as well as the fly events at the Purdue Invitational.
