2016-17 / AS A SOPHOMORE
• Competed primarily in the 100 butterfly and 200 IM
• Posted season-best times in the 100 back (49.27), 100 fly (48.70), 100 free (45.06) and 200 IM (1:46.89) at the Big Ten Championships
• Ranked among the top five on the team in 2016-17 in the 100 free, 100 fly and 200 IM and continues to be among the all-time top 10 in the 100 back (47.91) and 200 IM (1:46.46)
• Swam on Purdue's 400 free relay team at Big Tens that posted the fourth-fastest time in program history
• Victorious in the 100 IM and 200 free in the dual meet win vs. Michigan State, a meet in which he also posted his season best in the 200 free (1:40.67)
• Won the 100 fly and swam the leadoff leg on the victorious 400 free relay in the dual meet vs. Miami (Ohio)
• Was one of only three Boilermakers to score in four individual events at Virginia Tech's H2Okie Fall Invitational, accounting for 34 team points
• Scored in the A final of the 200 IM and 100 back as well as the B final of the 100 free and 100 fly
• Swam the leadoff leg on the victorious 200 medley relay at the Indiana Intercollegiates

• Competed primarily in the backstroke and butterfly events along with the 200 IM...
• Established a new Purdue freshman record in the 100 back (47.91) at the Big Ten Championships, where he also posted season-best times in the 200 back (1:48.00) and 200 IM (1:46.46)
• 100 back and 200 IM times were team season bests while also ranking fourth and seventh in program history
• Finished third in the C final of both the 100 back and 200 IM at Big Tens to account for 12 team points
• Earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors after accounting for a team-high 56 points at the FIU Sprint Invite, where he posted top-five finishes in the 100 back (1st), 100 IM (1st, 52.52) and 100 free (3rd, 47.42)
• Accounted for 41 team points at the Purdue Invitational by scoring in four individual events, highlighted by third place in the A final of the 200 IM and second in the B final of the 100 back
• Also scored in the 100 fly at the Purdue Invite with a time of 49.51
