2013-14: Academic All-Big Ten... Baker competed primarily in the breaststroke events... posted season-best time in 200 breast (2:01.96) at the Michigan First Chance meet that ranked second fastest for Purdue in 2013-14, earning the final spot on the travel party for the Big Ten Championships... at Big Tens, finished the 100 breast with a season-best time of 56.45 that was good for fourth fastest on the team in 2013-14... raced in both breaststroke events and the 200 IM at the Big Ten Triple Duals and the dual meet win against Miami (Ohio)... finished the 100 breast in 58.24 vs. Miami... co-authored a blog with Adam Johnston during Purdue's winter training trip in Hawaii.

2012-13: Baker competed primarily in the breaststroke events... season-best times in the 100 (58.70) and 200 breast (2:06.06) from the Michigan First Chance meet both ranked fourth on the team in 2012-13... also competed in the 100 fly and 200 IM at Michigan, posting his season-best time in 200 IM (1:56.21)... placed third in the 200 breast and fourth in the 100 breast at Michigan... also had a strong swim in the 100 breast (58.80) in the dual meet with Indiana... scored at the Purdue Invitational by qualifying for the B final of the 200 breast after winning heat 1 of the prelims... won heat 1 of the 200 IM at the season-opening Indiana Intercollegiates... part of the travel roster for the January trip to Michigan for back-to-back dual meets in East Lansing and Ann Arbor.

Before Purdue: Baker was a four-year letter-winner for coach Andy Pedersen at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Ind.... Indiana state champion in the 200 breaststroke as a senior... also placed 10th in the 100 breast as a senior and sixth in the 200 breast as a sophomore... four-year sectional finalist... team's Newcomer of the Year honoree as a freshman... USA Swimming Grand Prix qualifier... helped lead HSE to three straight conference titles and four consecutive sectional championships... Academic All-State as a senior... National Merit Scholar ranked among the top 10 percent of his graduating class.
