WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's golf team will continue its fall slate in the coming days when it competes in the Jack Nicklaus Invitational at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio.
The two-day tournament will feature 36 holes on Monday with an 8:30 a.m. ET shotgun start, and the final 18 holes on Tuesday with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. ET. Muirfield Village, the host of the 1987 Ryder Cup and the future host of the 2013 President's Cup, is a par-72, 7,352-yard track overseen by the legendary Nicklaus.
The Boilermakers will be part of an 11-team field that also features nationally-ranked Arkansas, Kent State and Oklahoma State.
Freshman Jonathan DiIanni will play in the top position for the Boilermakers, with sophomore Enzo Perez and junior Adam Schenk penciled into the No. 2 and 3 spots, respectively. Sophomore Edward Peters will make his second start of the year in the No. 4 position. Sophomore Justin Cho and redshirt freshman David Cooke will also make the trip for the Boilers, with one playing in the No. 5 spot and the other competing as an individual.
