WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men’s golf team will continue its fall campaign this weekend when it heads to Sugar Grove, Ill., for the Northern Intercollegiate.
Northern Illinois will host the tournament at Rich Harvest Farms, with 36 holes of play scheduled for Saturday and the remaining 18 slated for Sunday.
The Boilermakers are coming off of a third-place tie at the season-opening Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate in Verona, N.Y. Senior Tyler Duncan paced the Boilers on the weekend, tying for third place in the individual standings and shooting at par or better in all three rounds en route to Big Ten Golfer of the Week accolades.
Duncan will play in the No. 1 position at the Northern Intercollegiate, with sophomore Adam Schenk, a top-10 finisher last weekend, manning the No. 2 spot in the lineup. Senior William Sjaichudin will play No. 3, junior Jakob Zeigler will play No. 4 and sophomore Sam Fu will make his season debut in the No. 5 position.
For the second week in a row, freshman Ben-Marvin Egel will compete as an individual.
