NORMAN, Okla. - Purdue University rising senior Tyler Duncan was named a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar on Wednesday in a release by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Also an Academic All-Big Ten honoree in 2011, Duncan competed in 10 tournaments for the Boilermakers in 2010-11. He finished the year with a 74.70 stroke average, firing six rounds at par or better and counting nearly 90 percent of his rounds to Purdue's team score.

To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar honors, an individual must be a junior or senior academically, participate in 70 percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 (Division I) and maintain a 3.2 grade-point average (Division I). A recipient must also be in good standing at his institution.
