PARK RIDGE, Ill. - Junior Adam Schenk was named to the six-player All-Big Ten first team on Wednesday in an announcement by the league office.
The Vincennes, Ind., native is Purdue's first first-team All-Big Ten selection since 2007. Schenk was also chosen as the Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2011.
Schenk leads the Boilermakers with a 73.44 scoring average this season, posting five top-10 finishes. He earned a spot on the Big Ten Championships All-Championships Team this season with a tie for fifth at the conference event in French Lick, Ind.
