Macdonald Named B1G Golfer of Week (Feb. 25, 2015)
Macdonald Qualifies for U.S. Amateur (July 14, 2015)

2014-15 / JUNIOR
• Following the year, qualified for the U.S. Amateur Championship after finishing with co-medalist honors in qualifying at Somis, California, with an even-par 144.
• Finished second in the British Columbia Amateur in late July and then finished T-13th at the Canadian Amateur in August, the week before the U.S. Amateur.
• Macdonald was one of two players (Austin Eoff) to play every round (36), recording a 74.36 scoring average on the season.
• Was named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week on Feb. 25, after placing 10th at a loaded Puerto Rico Classic field.
• Ranked second on the team in birdies (89) and led the team in eagles (5).
• Recorded two top-10 finishes, placing tied for sixth at the Jack Nicklaus Invitational (+2) and 10th at the Puerto Rico Classic (-3).
• Was also T-12th at the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate (+3).
• Was part of the counting team in 22.8 of his 36.0 rounds (.633).
• Tallied six rounds at or under par and three rounds in the 60s, including a career-low round of 68 in the final round of the Puerto Rico Classic.
• Named to the Big Ten's All-Academic Team, owning a 3.00 GPA.

2013-14 / SOPHOMORE
• Macdonald came on strong late in the year to give the Boilermakers a big boost. Was one of the most-improved players in the Big Ten, shaving almost six strokes per round off his average from his freshman year (79.86).
• Macdonald appeared in seven tournaments (22 rounds) and ranked third on the team in scoring average at 74.05 strokes per round.
• Broke out in a big way at the Boilermaker Invitational with a career-best T-4th finish (71-70-72=213; -3). Was the leader after 36 holes.
• Recorded a T-20th finish at the NCAA Central Regional (79-70-76=225; +9).
• Was outstanding the first two rounds at the NCAA Championship with a 142 (+2), before a final-round 80 dropped him off the pace.
• Seven of his 22 rounds were even par or better.
• During the summer, won his second straight Point Grey Golf & Country Club individual championship (-8).
• Competed in the PC Financial Open on the PGA Tour Canada circuit right after the NCAA Championship.

2012-13 / FRESHMAN
• Competed in three events, all as an individual.
• Averaged 79.86 strokes per round with a 54-hole low score of 247.
• Finished tied for 21st at the Purdue / Midwest Shootout (+11; 18 holes) and tied for 28th at the Jack Nicklaus Invitational (+13; 18 holes).
