Sophomore Tyler Duncan was named Big Ten Golfer of the Week on Wednesday after tying for seventh place at the Puerto Rico Classic to lead Purdue to a share of sixth place.
Sophomore Tyler Duncan posted his third-consecutive round in red numbers with a score of 68 (-4) on Tuesday. Duncan helped lead Purdue men's golf team into a sixth-place finish with a three-round total of 856 (-8) at the Puerto Rico Classic.
Sophomore William Sjaichudin posted a second round score of 68 (-4) to help lead the Purdue men's golf team to a two-round total of 568 (-8) at the Puerto Rico Classic. The Boilermakers have used a tournament-leading four eagles to stay within three strokes of the top-five.
Tyler Duncan and Nakarintra Ratanakul both posted red numbers and Purdue was two strokes under par as a group on Sunday to stand in a tie for sixth at the Puerto Rico Classic.
