WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Normondo Harris is back where he began. And he is doing quite well.

After being moved from defensive back to wide receiver last spring, Harris, a sophomore, returned to the secondary during training camp. He has served as the Boilermakers' nickel back throughout the season, amassing 20 tackles to go with a pass breakup.

The Miami native played cornerback, safety and wide receiver and returned kicks in high school and finished second in the triple jump in the state finals as a senior. A year ago, as a true freshman, Harris appeared in six games and had 11 tackles and a fumble forced.

With the Boilermakers appearing set in the secondary, Harris was switched to offense. But during training camp, amid concern about cornerback Josh Johnson's foot, Harris was moved back. His future appears set on the defensive side of the ball.

The Boilermakers are back in postseason play and will take on Western Michigan in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl at beautiful Ford Field in Detroit on Tuesday, Dec. 27. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. ET.

Tickets for the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl are priced at $45 (Purdue's allotment of the $60 club seats is sold out) and can be ordered through the Purdue Athletic Ticket Office anytime on-line here or by phone (494-3194 or 800-49-SPORT) or in-person during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
