WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Justin Siller will be home for the holidays.
The fifth-year senior wide receiver will play his final collegiate game in his hometown of Detroit in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl.
Siller is the Boilermakers' leading pass catcher this season with 45 receptions for 430 yards and one touchdown. Late in the season, he also took snaps out of Purdue's wildcat formation.
A product of Saint Mary's High School, Siller came to Purdue as highly regarded dual-threat quarterback. In his first collegiate start, he led the Boilermakers to a win over Michigan on Nov. 1, 2008, and was named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week. Siller also played running back before moving to wide receiver in 2010.
The Boilermakers are back in postseason play and will take on Western Michigan in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl at beautiful Ford Field in Detroit on Tuesday, Dec. 27. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. ET.
Tickets for the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl are priced at $45 (Purdue's allotment of the $60 club seats is sold out) and can be ordered through the Purdue Athletic Ticket Office anytime on-line here or by phone (494-3194 or 800-49-SPORT) or in-person during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
