2009 Purdue Schedule
Now Airing: Purdue On The Big Ten Network

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue athletics director Morgan Burke announced today that football season-ticket prices will remain the same for the 2009 season.

Season tickets will be priced as follows:

* General public between the 30-yard lines - $336
* Faculty and staff between the 30-yard lines - $269
* General public outside the 30-yard lines - $259
* Faculty and staff outside the 30-yard lines - $207
* Students - $119

"We recognize these are trying economic times and want to do our small part in intercollegiate athletics," Burke said. "We appreciate the loyal season-ticket holders we have had in the past and sincerely hope they will stick with us in 2009. It is an important year, and I would love to see sellouts be the rule rather than the exception in Danny Hope's first season as head coach."

Students again will be able to purchase VIP Cards - season tickets to all Purdue intercollegiate athletics events - for $225, which reflects a more than 30 percent discount off the combined season ticket rates.

The 2009 schedule will feature seven home games, including Notre Dame and Big Ten Conference foes Illinois, Michigan State, Northwestern and Ohio State.

This season, Purdue sold 40,829 season tickets, the sixth-most in school history. The high-water mark is 44,645 for the 2005 season.

The Boilermakers averaged 56,702 fans for their seven home games in 2008, capped by a sellout-plus crowd of 63,107 for the Old Oaken Bucket game against intrastate rival Indiana.
