WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - When they take the field Saturday before a homecoming crowd at Ross-Ade Stadium, the Boilermakers will be looking for their seventh win in 2007.
Coming off of win number six, a 31-6 victory over Iowa that left the Old Gold and Black bowl eligible for the 10th time in 11 seasons under head coach Joe Tiller, Purdue hopes to keep the good times going.
The Boilermakers offense reverted to early-season form against Iowa in rolling up more than 400 yards of offense and 31 points, while the defense held the Hawkeyes out of the endzone, allowing just two field goals.
Northwestern is next up for Purdue. The Wildcats come into the contest on a three-game winning streak and stand at 5-3 for the season.
Earlier this week, Boilermaker All-Access caught up with head coach Joe Tiller, offensive lineman Jordan Grimes and defensive lineman Ryan Baker to talk about staying focused in the world of college football, the team's performance against Iowa and what they expect from Northwestern.
Purdue and Northwestern kick off at noon on Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium. For ticket information, including a special discounted offer, visit purduesports.com or call the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-49-SPORT.
