WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue football team will recognize the 10th anniversary of the 2000 Rose Bowl season during the Minnesota game at Ross-Ade Stadium on Oct. 16.
The Boilermakers will wear throwback uniforms - helmets, jerseys and pants - replicating the gameday attire worn by their predecessors in the 2001 Rose Bowl. Fans have the opportunity to own this part of the Rose Bowl legacy via an on-line auction.
Packages of a helmet, jersey and pants will be available for the following numbers: 2 (two sets), 3, 4, 9, 13, 14, 15 (two sets), 21, 23, 24, 25, 30, 34, 37, 47, 53, 68, 73, 77, 78, 82, 84, 85, 89, 92, 93, 94 and 98. Bidding will begin at $475.
Jersey and pants packages will be available for all other numbers. Bidding will begin at $175.
Thirty helmets will be available at a "Buy It Now" price of $400.
The helmets are made by Riddell, while the jerseys and pants are produced by Nike. All items are official and authentic Purdue football equipment. All items are team issued - many will be game worn based on who dresses for the Minnesota contest - and include a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Purdue athletics director Morgan Burke.

The jersey and pant package auction will end Oct. 22, while the helmet, jersey and pant package auction will end Oct. 29.
Also available are limited-edition commemorative 2000 season framed collages of home game ticket replicas, a replica of the 2001 Rose Bowl ticket, the iconic photo of head coach Joe Tiller and Drew Brees celebrating the Boilermakers' Rose Bowl berth, the list of game results, and an authentic piece from a football used in the Rose Bowl. They are available at a "Buy It Now" price of $199 and include a Certificate of Authenticity from Mounted Memories. For $209, an official 2001 Rose Bowl Game program will be included.
