WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue football ticket sales continue to be brisk for Saturday’s Homecoming game against eighth-ranked Michigan.

More than 5,000 tickets have been sold for the game since the Boilermakers’ 35-3 victory at Missouri. Tickets are still available, and Purdue Athletics officials believe a sellout is entirely possible. The capacity of Ross-Ade Stadium is 57,236.

First-year head coach Jeff Brohm and the Boilermakers have recaptured fans’ interest, and they are the talk of the country.

For their Friday night home opener Sept. 8 against Ohio, the Boilermakers sold 13,143 tickets the week of the game. The attendance was 45,633.

Purdue has not played in front of a crowd of 50,000 or more since 2013 and only 12 times out of 57 home games since Joe Tiller retired as head coach following the 2008 season.

The last sellout came in Tiller’s last game Nov. 22, 2008. The crowd was 63,107, and capacity of Ross-Ade was 62,500 at that time.

Purdue (2-1) and Michigan (3-0) will kickoff at 4 p.m. ET.
