Coach Hope Live
Fans are invited to the "Danny Hope Show" on radio - hosted by Tim Newton - every Monday at 6 p.m. from Buffalo Wild Wings in West Lafayette. The show continues through Nov. 19 (with the exception of Sept. 17) and can be heard on the Purdue Sports Network and on the World Wide Web for free by clicking here. The number to call is 888-246-2678.

Fans also are welcome to join the Downtown Gridiron Club, which meets Mondays beginning today to breakdown the highlights of the previous week's game. Coach Hope is on hand to provide commentary, shed insight to the ins and outs of the highlights and answer questions. The meetings are a great opportunity for fan fellowship while enjoying lunch and hearing from the head coach. Meetings are held at The Trails in West Lafayette, with doors opening at 11 a.m. and the program beginning at noon. For ticket information, call Jim MacDonald at 765-742-7366.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - With a stretch of four straight home football games starting this Saturday against Eastern Michigan (noon kickoff at Ross-Ade Stadium), Boilermaker Nation is reminded to fly Purdue flags to increase Boilermaker spirit on campus, throughout Lafayette and West Lafayette and beyond.

In July, Purdue athletics director Morgan Burke and head football coach Danny Hope joined Lafayette mayor Tony Roswarski and West Lafayette mayor John Dennis to announce "Boilermaker Revelry," asking fans to fly Purdue flags for all home football game weekends this season.

In addition, Purdue and Greater Lafayette area leaders have a new initiative this fall that promises to be a win-win for the football team and the local community. Individuals and businesses are encouraged throughout the football season to create displays at their home or business showing Purdue spirit, with the goal of creating a greater sense of community. Prizes are awarded to winners of the contest for each home football game weekend.

Photos must be submitted by noon on Wednesdays the week prior to home football games. Voting then takes place on the Purdue Athletics Storefront Contest Facebook page from Thursday at noon until 12 a.m. on Wednesday. To submit an entry or vote, click here.

The entrant with the most votes receives a grouping of game tickets, refreshments and a gift certificate, all delivered to the site of the winning display by the Boilermaker Special. In addition, a photo of the week's winning Spirit Maker display will be featured for four days on Purdue's home page as a banner image and appear on the video screen at the football game. One voter from each week's voting also will be randomly selected for a prize. Download the contest rules for more details.
