Following is information designed to make your 2010 Purdue football experience an enjoyable and pleasant one:

Single-game tickets are mailed out at least two weeks before each game.

To ensure safe and timely arrivals to games, police say leaving early and heeding posted signs and officers' directions will make for smooth travels. Parking lots will open as follows:

* RV lots will open Friday at 6 p.m. ET
* All lots except D & T will open Saturday eight hours prior to kickoff, but no earlier than 7 a.m. ET
* Lots D & T will open Saturday eight hours prior to kickoff, but no earlier than 8 a.m. ET

The Athletic Ticket Office in the Intercollegiate Athletic Facility opens three hours before kickoff and will remain open through halftime. The John Purdue Club satellite office in Mackey Arena Room 60 also opens three hours prior to game time.

Fans making their way to campus on game day will want to tune in to live pregame coverage on radio, starting three hours before kickoff. The two-hour "Countdown to Kickoff" show - hosted by Kyle Charters - sets the stage and can be heard on WAZY (96.5 FM) in the Lafayette-West Lafayette area, followed by the pregame show - hosted by Rob Blackman - on the Purdue Sports Network. Blackman is joined for the game broadcast by Tim Newton, Pete Quinn and Kelly Kitchel. Game broadcasts also can be heard on Sirius XM Radio and are available via Internet subscription by clicking here.

Fans, especially families, looking for fun before home games will want to check out the popular Boilermaker StreetFest. Meet-the-team events, inflatable games and interactive opportunities highlight the list of activities. Boilermaker StreetFest, which starts three hours before kickoff and is located on the southwest tarmac area outside Mackey Arena, is free and open to fans of all ages. For Homecoming on Oct. 16, StreetFest will be located in front of Lambert Fieldhouse in conjunction with other university festivities.

Concessions stands outside Ross-Ade open three hours prior to game time. Inside stands open one a half hours before kickoff.

The football team will depart the Purdue Memorial Union approximately two hours and 15 minutes prior to kickoff, bus around campus via State Street, McCormick Road, Cherry Lane and University Street (to be renamed John R. Wooden Drive on Sept. 11) before being dropped off on the north side of Ross-Ade near Local Mountain Coffee. The Boilermakers then will walk to their locker room in the Intercollegiate Athletic Facility. Fans are encouraged to line the sidewalks along University Street to greet the team upon its arrival.

Meanwhile, along Tower Drive to the west of Ross-Ade, fans can sing along with the "All-American" Marching Band at the "Thrill on the Hill" pep session beginning two hours before kickoff. The event, at Slayter Center of Performing Arts, will feature upbeat music and favorites by the band and last approximately 30 minutes. Then the band begins its voyage to the stadium, marching up the west side of the stadium, stopping to perform a brief concert on the north plaza and marching down the east side before entering at the southeast corner. As you see and hear the "All-American" Marching Band go by, that is your signal to pack up those tailgates and head into Ross-Ade.

All gates to Ross-Ade will open 90 minutes before kickoff. Fans entering the stadium can expect to have their bags searched at the gates. Some items are not allowed in Ross-Ade, including (but not limited to): umbrellas; pets; noisemakers or irritants; seat backs not provided by the stadium; alcoholic beverages, coolers, cans, bottles or food; flags, banners, large signs or any item that may block the view of others; and objects that interfere with the comfort of other fans. Also, Ross-Ade is a smoke- and tobacco-free environment. Tobacco use, in any form, is not allowed inside the stadium.

The Lost and Found is located on the concourse of section 115 and behind the south end zone bleachers. Articles not claimed during or immediately after the game are turned over to the Athletic Ticket Office.
