WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Stormy weather forced both of Thursday's football practices inside. That didn't stop several Ross-Ade Brigade members from attending the evening session which included a number of scrimmage situations.

Danny Anthrop received several reps at wide receiver and some at running back. Head Coach Danny Hope is very pleased with what he has seen from the freshman and thinks that he can be a contributor right away.

Nnamdi Ezenwa and Armstead Williams were also mentioned for their strong play at outside linebacker. Coach Hope said that the two will compete for playing time and both will certainly be able to fill the vacant spot.

Former Boilermaker and NFL star Matt Light was also back for the practice. Coach Hope always enjoys when Light is back and both are looking forward to talking to the team on Friday.

Coach Hope talked to the media after practice and the full interview can be found below.
