WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue football team entered its second week of preseason camp on Sunday and head coach Danny Hope continues to be impressed with the progress of his team.

Hope had plenty of words of praise for the Boilermaker offense after Sunday's practice, commenting on the play of senior quarterback Caleb TerBush several of the young Boilermaker receivers. With a few of the upperclassmen limited in practice, he specifically mentioned the emergence of freshmen Shane Mikesky, Cameron Posey and Danny Anthrop. Hope was also pleased with his offensive squad excelling in the team blitz drills for the second straight day.

Offensive coordinator Gary Nord spoke with the media as well on Sunday, talking about the progress of his side of the football. Nord also had good things to say about the young receivers and stressed that one of them needs to step up and fill the fourth wide receiver spot on the depth chart. In addition, Nord talked about the improvement of the Purdue defense and how their excellence is making the offense have to step up its game as well.
