WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue football team scrimmaged a bit on Saturday and the offense did a nice job of picking up blitzes, head coach Danny Hope said. The offensive line was much further ahead than they have been so far in camp.

The offense got a chance to give several youngsters a look in practice including a rotation on the offensive line. Rob Henry also looked good, according to Coach Hope. The junior quarterback got more reps on Saturday than usual and had several nice runs and passes in the scrimmage.

Some wide receivers also caught the coaches’ eyes. Freshmen Dolapo McCarthy and Cameron Posey were mentioned as having great hands and making big plays in practice.

Boilermaker All-Access caught up with Coach Hope after practice and the interview can be found below. Due to technical difficulties, the interview is broken up into two parts.
