WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermaker football team had another day of improvement according to head coach Danny Hope, participating in their second straight day of practice in half-pads, and look forward to putting on full pads on Wednesday.

Coach Hope stated that if the Boilermakers had a good practice on Monday, he would call Tuesday's efforts "very good." Hope also discussed tomorrow's move into full pads, stating that the squad continues to improve towards the best of their abilities and that they have a strong emphasis on discipline in this year's camp.

Tuesday was the first day of availability for the Boilermaker assistant coaches, and first-year defensive coordinator Tim Tibesar had several comments regarding the overall progression and retention of the Boilermaker defense, the progress of some of its individual standouts and the depth of his squad.
