2013 Season Preview

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The second day of fall camp was a great one, according to head coach Darrell Hazell. The team practiced with high energy and made significant improvement from the first day.

Ball security and leadership were among topics discussed after practice. The coaching staff was impressed with the way the team communicated especially in the defensive backfield. Hazell and defensive backs coach Jon Heacock mentioned the talent and depth in the secondary and that the unit could be one of the best on the team.

Hazell, Heacock, Ricardo Allen, and Taylor Richards stopped by to talk to the media following practice. Those interviews can be found below.

The team will be back on the practice field on Monday at 10 a.m. ET at the Bimel Practice Complex, weather permitting. The practice is open to the public and fans may watch from the hill on the north end of the complex, though pictures and video are not permitted.
