WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - This year, the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics honored the 12 members of the "Cradle of Quarterbacks" and in this week's Purdue Auctions, several items commemorating these Biolermaker greats are available for bidding.
Autographed photos of Mark Herrmann, Kyle Orton, Scott Campbell and Curtis Painter are available, as is a rare color print of 1967 Rose Bowl Champion Bob Griese.
Also up for bidding is a framed 3x5 gameday program replica from 1955, signed by Len Dawson. Dawson autographed the card earlier this summer when he was in West Lafayette for the National Football Foundation dinner honoring Purdue's three Super Bowl Champion signal callers.
Also available this week are gameday experiences for the Western Illinois football game on Sept. 11. Winning bidders will recieve a pregame meal and be able to watch the game from the sixth floor of the Ross-Ade Pavilion. They will also be escorted to the Purdue sidelines in the fourth quarter and be allowed into Coach Danny Hope's postgame press conference.
