Purdue and Missouri Football to Meet in 2017 and 2018

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue and Missouri have finalized an agreement for a home-and-home football series in 2017 and 2018. Purdue will travel to Columbia, Mo., on Sept. 16, 2017, and play host to the Tigers on Sept. 15, 2018.

The Boilermakers and the Tigers have met eight times previously, with Purdue holding a 6-2 advantage. The teams last met Dec. 27, 1980, with the Boilermakers winning 28-25 in the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tenn.

The last regular-season meeting was Sept. 29, 1956, a 16-7 Purdue victory at Ross-Ade. The Boilermakers are 4-0 at home, 0-1 in Columbia and 2-1 at neutral sites. The teams played in St. Louis in 1895 and 1904.
