WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - After being put to a vote by the student body, the Purdue athletics department announced that a newly formed organization has selected "The Ross-Ade Brigade" as the official title of the student section at home football games.
"Our students are a huge part of the game day experience at Ross-Ade Stadium in the fall," head football coach Danny Hope said. "They come early, stay late and really give all that they've got to our team throughout the entire game. We really appreciate their support, and are very proud of the part they play in the Boilermaker football tradition."
A $15 membership in the organization includes a t-shirt, 15-minute early entrance to home football games, special events with the football team, pregame tailgating and much more! Students may join when they purchase their football season ticket or VIP/BSA card online.
The football season opens on Sept. 3 when the Boilermakers host Middle Tennessee State at noon ET in Ross-Ade Stadium.
