WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue football is proud to announce the inaugural Boilermaker Season Ticket Referral program for its 2008 season-ticket holders. Current season-ticket holders continue to be Purdue's No. 1 asset when educating fans about the local and national impact a packed Ross-Ade Stadium has on the future of the Boilermaker football program. Current season-ticket holders will be rewarded for referring family members, co-workers and friends to purchase Purdue football season tickets. For referring new season-ticket accounts, current season-ticket holders will receive an invitation to an exclusive tailgate tent before the Sept. 6 home opener vs. Northern Colorado. The Tailgate Tent will help program participants get ready for kickoff of another great year of Boilermaker football with a gourmet buffet, cash bar and more! The tent - located outside Mackey Arena just steps from Ross-Ade - will be reserved for referral program participants and those new season-ticket holders they referred. Invitations to the event will be sent to current season-ticket holders and the new season-ticket accounts they refer. Current season-ticket holders will receive two event passes for referring a new season-ticket account (limit two passes per current season-ticket holder). New season-ticket holders will receive one event pass for each new season ticket purchased. Current season-ticket holders also will be rewarded for referring multiple season-ticket accounts. Current season-ticket holders earn a John Purdue Club point per new season-ticket account referral. There is no limit to the number of referral points that can be earned.
To participate in the program, refer all family members, co-workers and friends to purchase Purdue football season tickets by calling Ticket Specialists John Jeanguenat (765-494-9476) or Aaron Thais (765-494-9467). New season-ticket accounts must identify the name and mailing address of the current season-ticket account for both parties to qualify for program benefits. For more information, please call Jeanguenat or Thais, or send an e-mail to tickets@purdue.edu. Please note: The Boilermaker Season Ticket Referral program will end on Aug. 14, 2008. No referrals will count toward event invitations or John Purdue Club points after that date. Accounts that are up for renewal from 2007 are not included in the Boilermaker Season Ticket Referral program. John Purdue Club points will be added to current season-ticket accounts as referrals are received. Points earned through the Boilermaker Season Ticket Referral program will not affect seating or parking location for the 2008 Purdue football season.
