Purdue students were asked to submit entries last semester to Purdue's Trademark Licensing Office. The creator of the winning design will receive a prize package valued at over $500, including football tickets, licensed Purdue apparel, gift cards for textbooks and more. Questions can be directed via e-mail to trademarklicensing@purdue.edu.
As Purdue traditions have evolved, a number of different logos (symbols and designs) and verbiage (words, phrases, names and groups of letters) have come to represent Purdue University and its many diverse entities. The Purdue University Trademark Licensing office was established to control, protect, maintain and promote these marks. Licensed products benefit the university in many ways and contribute to the university's general and athletics scholarship funds. The office encourages consumers to support Purdue University by purchasing licensed merchandise.
