The Purdue football seniors gathered in the team meeting moom Wednesday afternoon and drafted teammates either for Team Black or Team Gold for Saturday's spring game at Ross-Ade Stadium.
The seniors for Team Black were picked by spring game head coach Jon Heacock and consist of TE Partick BadeWR Gary Bush, LB Tylor Foster, T Trevor Foy, RB Kurt Freytag, CB Normondo Harris, QB Rob Henry, TE Gabe Holmes, DT Ryan Isaac, C Henry Lorenzen, DT Eric McDaniel, T Kevin Pamphile and T Devin Smith.
The seniors for Team Gold were picked by spring game head coach Rubin Carter and consist of CB Ricardo Allen, TE Sterling Carter, G/C Cody Davis, T Josh Davis, DT Bruce Gaston, LB Ruben Ibarra, T Justin Kitchens, LB Will Lucas, DT Brandon Taylor and P Cody Webster.
With head coach Darrell Hazell serving as the comissioner, the two squads had one minute each to select their teams by position position groups. Defensive end Ryan Russell was the first overall pick by Team Black.
Upon conclusion of the draft, there was a three-minute window in order for trades to happen, but each team rejected the other's trade offer.
Team Black is the home team and will wear black jerseys with black pants, Team Gold is the visitors and will don gold jerseys over white pants.
