WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue football team and the John Purdue Club invite you to the 2008 Black & Gold Game festivities to be held Saturday, April 19.
The activities will include a Family Fun Fest, which will be held on the Ross-Ade Stadium field from 9:30 to 11 a.m., followed by the Black & Gold Game at noon.
Gate A, located at the southeast corner of Ross-Ade, will open promptly at 9 a.m. for registration.
The Family Fun Fest is open to all youth with adult supervision. Youngsters will be able to participate in the following six interactive stations run by the Boilermaker football team:
* Catching a football from the quarterbacks
* Kick a field goal with the kickers
* Accuracy throw with the wide receivers and running backs
* Dummy tackling with the defensive backs and linebackers
* Obstacle course with the offensive and defensive linemen
* Bouncy house with the special teams
In addition, members of the 1997 and 1998 Alamo Bowl championship teams will be honored at halftime. Many other former Boilermaker football players and coaches are expected back, as well, and will be recognized.
Following the game, an autograph session will be held on the field.
