2017 Purdue Football Schedule / Purdue Football Master Plan

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue football team wrapped up its 10th practice of the spring Wednesday in Mollenkopf. The running backs were the last position group to meet with the media this spring, but the group has not gone unnoticed by head coach Jeff Brohm and assistant coach Chris Barclay.

“I think that’s our strength right now, our running back room,” Brohm said. “We’ve got some guys that are elusive and can run hard. I feel good that they’re going to do their part and I do like that crew.”

Barclay believes he has a diverse room full of guys that can contribute.

“I like the versatility of the group,” Barclay said. “I feel like we’ve got a lot of different tools in that tool box. We’ve got a lot of different types of players. I feel like the group, they learn pretty well, they digest information and they carry it and it transitions from the classroom to the field. With that type of attitude and that type of worth ethic I think we’ll be ok.”

The Boilermakers have four more practices before the annual Spring Game on April 8. All four, as well as the Spring Game, are open to the public and free of charge. The full schedule and interviews can be found on this page.
